about

In Indian classical music, triva ma is a special note that is considered to be the fourth note of the scale, altered by a quarter tone. It's is the only swara that takes this name.

This alteration creates a unique flavor and tension in the music, and it is often used to create a sense of longing or yearning.

The word "triva" means "three" in Sanskrit, and it refers to the fact that this note is altered by three microtones.

This is my little homage to this note, the one you learn with Yaman Raga.
