In early 2022, I received a white travel sitar from my friend Salim Maner (Miraj), which we had designed together for the past two years inspired by Jimi's Hendrix white strato, creating my first custom sitar.

A month later I installed an electric pickup stand and added a Seymor Duncan SH1-B hotrails pickup to electrify the sound, changing the string configuration to steel strings..

Throughout next months I have been doing sound checks,string calibration, jawary, bridge test and bridge lift, and started play with it using an ancient red POD xt multieffect.(almost 20 years old).

In September 2022 I went back to the amplified sound through a Crate FlexWave amplifier, and combining pod effects like fuzzface, univibe, rotary chorus, phaser, and reverse echo, I started recording some tracks and ambients.

In November 2022 I decided to incorporate a wah wah pedal to the takes, after almost 10 years without stepping on one.

After 20 years of playing sitar.... this is my litte homage to one of the greatest musicians of the last century.

This album is highly psychedelic made for listening with out compression (wav archives) & headphones.

Dedicated to maestro Niladriji Kumar, creator of the zitar (electric sitar) and all Hendrix lovers.
